They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Day 2 – Day 2: Exploring Athens

Today, we'll embark on a city tour with a local guide, visiting the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos stadium, and the bustling squares of the city center. We'll conclude the tour at the iconic Acropolis. In the evening, we'll head to the PLAKA area, a lively neighborhood filled with quaint Greek bars, where you can immerse yourself in the country's rich folklore.
Day 3 – Day 3: Journey to Northern Greece

We'll start our day early, heading towards the North of Greece. Our first stop will be KAMENA VOURLA, a beautiful seaside tourist hub. We'll then visit the site of the Battle of Thermopylae before proceeding to KASTRAKI, a picturesque village offering stunning views of the valley. After lunch, we'll explore the breathtaking METEORA valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit one of its famous monasteries. We'll conclude the day with dinner in KALAMBAKA.

Today, we'll travel south through the Thessaly region, arriving in DELPHI, a city known for its stunning landscapes and beautiful archaeological complex. After exploring the complex and enjoying lunch, we'll visit the OSIOS LOUKAS MONASTERY, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its 11th-century mosaics. We'll end the day with a return to ATHENS in the evening.

Today, we'll embark on a special journey to the islands of Greece. We'll start with a ferry ride to AEGYNA, an island inhabited for over 4,000 years. After exploring AEGYNA, we'll take another ferry to POROS island, a charming place full of tourist life. After lunch, we'll travel to Galatas, a small harbor in the Peloponnese, and then to EPIDAURUS, where we'll visit its ancient theater. We'll end the day in NAUPLIA, a charming coastal city.

We'll journey across the mountains of the Peloponnese to TRIPOLI, the lively capital of the Arcadia region. After some free time, we'll head to OLYMPIA, where we'll visit the archaeological site of the first Olympic Games. We'll then continue to PATRAS, the third-largest city in Greece, known for its active life and the largest cathedral in Greece. Dinner will be served in PATRAS.

After breakfast, we'll cross the Rio-Antirrio bridge, connecting the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland. We'll travel through Central Greece and Epyrus to reach IGOUMENITSA, a coastal city. After a short break, we'll board a ferry to cross the Ionian Sea towards Italy. We'll arrive in BRINDISI by the end of the day.

Today, we'll visit two spectacular Italian towns. First, we'll explore ALBEROBELLO, known for its unique conical-shaped houses called 'trulli'. We'll then continue to MATERA, a city famous for its 'Sassi di Matera', a complex of ancient houses and buildings carved into the rock. After a walk and lunch in Matera, we'll journey through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Basilicata and Campania, arriving in NAPLES in the evening.

We'll start the day with some free time in NAPLES before boarding a boat to the ISLAND OF CAPRI. You may choose to visit the Blue Grotto or take the cable car to Capri city. We'll then return to the mainland and continue to SORRENTO, a charming town at the base of a cliff. After some free time in Sorrento, we'll head to the Gulf of Salerno and spend the night in SALERNO.

Today, we'll travel south, crossing the Cilento National Park to reach PAOLA, a city on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea. After visiting the sanctuary of St Francis of Paola and enjoying lunch, we'll continue to VILLA SAN GIOVANNI to take a short ferry crossing to the island of SICILY. We'll arrive in MESSINA, where we'll have time for a stroll and to visit the cathedral before continuing to TAORMINA.

We'll start the day in TAORMINA, a city at the foot of the Etna volcano, known for its old town and Greek theater. We'll then head to CALTAGIRONE, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Baroque architecture and ceramics. After lunch, we'll visit the VILLA ROMANA DEL CASALE, another World Heritage Site, before crossing the mountainous center of the island to reach PALERMO.

In the evening, we'll head to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood known for its traditional restaurants.
