Dream Tour: Melissani Lake, Drogarati Cave, Myrtos (viewpoint)

We were booked on a group tour and ended up taking my rental with a tour guide and he was magnificent. Highly recommend

We booked and went on a brilliant bus tour today! We booked it yesterday in the office which was easy to do and super friendly, helpful staff. The bus picked us up near the cruise terminal, we are actually staying at the Kefalonia Grand Hotel but the walk down is a lovely chance to see all the fish, lovely shops and restaurants. We visited some really beautiful places on the tour, all hidden gems and places you'd probably miss out on without the tour! We had a brilliant tour guide called Gerasimos and a lovely driver called Chris! There was a mixture of Italian, English and French on the tour and he spoke in every language. Was very impressed. You are not rushed on the tour so get chance to see and enjoy everything and even get to sample a couple of local wines. Which was great as it's my husbands birthday! I really would highly recommend this company if you are visiting Argostoli. There are no negatives to write! We had the best day! Thank you for helping to make our holiday special.

We loved this tour! Great value, excellent tourguide. The amazing mountain views from the bus were an added bonus. Melissani Lake was a highlight of our trip, and the Myrtos Beach viewpoint was spectacular.

Melissani is absolutely fascinating. The Drogarati cave was also well worth the visit. Gerasimos is a great guide and provided us with a lot of interesting information during the trip. I learned a lot about the island, its history and culture, traditional food, the landscape and so on.

I had a great time and enjoyed the trip very much!

Sea Dream Tours went above and beyond in making our day awesome! Due to a last-minute cancellation from someone else we ended up having a private tour with Simona (the main guide) and Zdenka (the social media manager/photographer). They were very flexible in ensuring the day was spent well - we went to Myrtos Beach and then the two caves followed by a delicious lunch. We learned so much about the island and the history behind the caves, plus getting to know two great people. Zdenka took us to great photo spots and took several photos and videos of us for our honeymoon, while Simona gave us great information on the island and history. It felt like driving around Kefalonia with two friends; we had a great day all due to their kindness, flexibility and professionalism.

Drogarati Cave was equally impressive, with its vast chambers and remarkable stalactites and stalagmites. The Myrtos Beach, offering a perfect spot to relax and soak in the breathtaking views. Thank you so much Gerasimos and Zdenka for your professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge . It made the whole journey smooth and enjoyable.

Our coach was full with three different nationalities but our two guides Gerasimos and Theresa were amazing and kept us all informed with points of interest. Lovely to see so much of the island and the caves were interesting (lot of steps!) company was also very helpful when one of our party lost their purse, which was found after the trip on the coach.

Good value tour. Bit of a whistle stop tour but a lot fitted into the day. Very nice guide, pick up in a convenient location to the cruise port.
