From Athens to London

Welcome to Greece! Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Once you've settled in, check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

Today, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of Athens with a local guide. We'll see the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos stadium, the national library, and the bustling squares of the city center. The tour will culminate with a visit to the Acropolis (entry not included). In the evening, we'll transfer you to the Plaka quarter, a charming area filled with small Greek taverns where you can enjoy the country's folklore.

In the morning, we'll set off for the Peloponnese region. Our first stop will be the Corinth Canal, followed by a visit to the immense fortress of Accra Corinth (entrance included). We'll then proceed to Mycenae, a colossal citadel from the eighteenth century BC, and the birthplace of the first European civilization (entrance included). After a stop in Tripoli, the provincial capital known for its excellent wines, we'll head to Olympia in the afternoon. A delightful dinner awaits you at the end of the day.

We'll start the day with a visit to Olympia's archaeological site, where a local guide will take you through its museum and archaeological site (ticket included), the cradle of the Olympic games in ancient times. After crossing the mountainous interior of the Peloponnese, we'll continue to Patras, where we'll visit the city's largest Orthodox cathedral. At 17.30, we'll board a modern ferry, which will sail along the Greek coast, passing the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia, and making a stop at Igumenitsa. You'll spend the night in a comfortable double cabin with a bathroom.

After a restful morning on board our ferry, we'll arrive in Ancona at around 14:00. From there, we'll continue to Loreto, where you'll have time to visit the sanctuary of the Holy House, the house of the Virgin Mary, and explore its beautiful medieval town. We'll then cross the Apennines amidst the beautiful countryside of the Abruzzos region before arriving in Rome at the end of the day.

Today, we'll introduce you to 'The Eternal City' with a scenic tour in the morning. We'll visit the tiny state of the Vatican, the epicenter of Christianity in the world, where you'll have the chance to visit St. Peter's Basilica. We also include the entrance to the Imperial Forums, an impressive architectural complex formed by monumental buildings and squares, which was the center of political activity in Imperial Rome. In the evening, we'll transfer you to the Trastevere area for a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the district with hidden treasures.

Leaving Rome behind, we'll head north through beautiful landscapes until we reach Florence. Upon arrival, we'll head straight to the impressive Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening, we'll take a tour with a local expert, walking through the historic center, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Plaza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. You'll have some leisure time to explore and enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants serving international cuisine.

Today, we'll enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. Upon arrival in Venice, we'll take a boat and cross the Giudecca to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we'll visit the marvelous St. Mark's Square and enter the Basilica (entrance included). Afterwards, we'll visit the Murano Glass Factory, where you'll be fascinated by the technique of how this ancient glass is made. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore before we head to our accommodation in the Mestre district.

We'll depart Venice and head to Austria. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, you'll have time to take a stroll in its historic town center and to have lunch. Next, we'll continue our journey through the wonderful Tyrolean sceneries as we cross into Switzerland. Arrival in Zurich will be in the evening. You'll have free time in the historic city center which sits right by the lake. There is a wide variety of local and international restaurants where you can have dinner.

Today's journey will take you through beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. We'll stop in Grindelwald where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to the mountain. We'll walk along the winding path which will lead us to the suspended bridge. Dare to walk across the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We'll have lunch up in the mountain (included) before heading back down. We continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In the evening we have time to stroll around enjoying the city. Return to Zurich and free time in the city before going to the hotel.

We will embark on a scenic journey to Bern, the capital city of Switzerland, built around a bend in the Aare River, with its medieval architecture well preserved in the Old Town. You'll have time to take a stroll. Next, we journey back to France. Enjoy beautiful lake views on our trip to Paris. We will arrive in the evening.

Early in the morning, we will leave for Versailles, the immense palace of the kings of France. After that, we will return to Paris at lunch time where we provide a transfer to the Montmartre district. We will ascend by funicular to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. This neighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabarets. Sit down for lunch and enjoy a magical atmosphere. Then, a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris will take place. Return to hotel.

We'll start the day by going to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. At around 17.00hrs we will leave Paris for Rouen, a city museum with its houses with half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches. Accommodation in the city.

Today we will take a stroll in the center of Rouen to admire its magnificent cathedral and the ancient streets of the historic center. After this we travel to the north of France. Travelling by ferry, we will cross the English Channel to reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England with a very attractive historic center. Continuing to London, arriving with time to explore, visit Tower Bridge to see it lit up and admire the modern buildings. Time for dinner in one of the many restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. After dinner, return to the hotel.

Get to know London on a locally guided tour featuring style, culture and history. See the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where we will be able to watch the famous 'Changing of the Guard' (depending on the season). Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, we will take a walk through Leicester Square, China Town and Soho, with a lively atmosphere, theatres and entertainment. There are several restaurants to chose where you can dine. Return to the hotel.

After breakfast we will go to the British Museum, one of the oldest museums in the world. At lunch time we transfer to Camden, a district famous for having one of the most varied and extravagant street markets in London where we can see relics from cultures all around the world. Enjoy free time afterwards. This marks the end of our services. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night.
