Our Grecian adventure kicks off at Athens International Airport at 6pm. After gathering, we'll travel by bus to the port of Rafina or Marathon to catch a ferry to the island of Evia. Upon arrival, a short ride will take us to Karystos where our traditional wooden caique, MV Isidoros II, awaits. Enjoy a welcome drink and settle into your cozy cabin. If you arrive early, Athens is easily accessible by metro for some quick exploration. Our boat, a historic caique, offers a unique stay with en-suite cabins, a sundeck, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Evia, a hidden gem, promises an authentic local experience with its rugged coastline, market towns, and clear, warm sea.

Today is all about relaxation and enjoying Greece's stunning scenery. Our boat departs around 9am, with breakfast served until 11am. We’ll make frequent stops for swimming and snorkeling before reaching our night mooring spot in Panagia by 4pm. Panagia, a quaint fishing village, offers a glimpse into the past with its unchanged charm. You can explore the nearby village of Agios Dimitrios or visit the Church of Panagia, known for its vibrant frescoes and ancient olive trees. Enjoy dinner at a local taverna, experiencing authentic Greek cuisine.

We cruise to the Gulf of Evia's limit, where legend says Poseidon split the island from the mainland. Our journey includes a stop at Porto Buffalo, a serene lagoon perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We then head to Eretria, a city steeped in history and known as the birthplace of the Latin alphabet. Explore ancient theatres, temples, and mosaics. In the evening, enjoy a stroll along the cosmopolitan promenade lined with tavernas and cafes.

This morning, explore Eretria's archaeological site and museum or shop for souvenirs, particularly known for its jewelry. We then cruise to Nea Styra, known for its stunning beaches and olive groves. Spend the morning in Karystos or take a trip to Mount Ohi to visit the 13th-century Castello Rosso, offering panoramic views. In the afternoon, we cruise to Bouros in Karystos Bay for our final swim and snorkel. Return to Karystos for a night in a waterfront hotel and enjoy a dinner featuring the island's organic dessert wine.

Departing Karystos, we take a short ride to Marmari or Styra to catch the ferry back to Rafina or Marathon. From there, we transfer to Athens International Airport, arriving around 11.30am. Ensure your flight departs no earlier than 1.30pm.
