Kick off your Greek adventure with a bus ride from Athens to Diakofto. From there, we'll explore the stunning Vouraikos Gorge and visit the historic Mega Spilaion Monastery. After a day of exploration, we'll retire for the night at the Mega Spilaion hostel or the Hotel Philoxenia in Kalavryta (or similar).

Day two takes us from Mega Spilaion to a historic castle and the natural beauty of Ladopotamos. We'll also enjoy a refreshing swim and lunch at Tsivlou Lake. The day concludes with a walk to the charming village of Peristera or Zarouchla, where we'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day three is packed with natural wonders, from the mystical Styx waters and falls to the serene Mavrolimni (Black Lake) and the peak of Chelmos mountain. Day five begins in the village of Dimitsana, where we'll visit the open-air water power museum. We'll then explore the breathtaking Lousios gorge and visit the monasteries of Old and New Philosophos and Saint John Prodromos. We'll also explore the ancient site of Gortys (Asklepeion) and the Karytaina citadel. The day concludes with a visit to the village of Andritsaina, where we'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day six begins with a visit to the stunning Temple of Epicoureios Apollo and the Bridge of Atcicholos. From there, we'll split into two groups for a choice of rafting on the Lousios and Alfeios rivers or hiking to the Kalamiou Monastery. The day concludes with a bus ride to the city of Sparta, where we'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day seven begins with a visit to the archaeological site of Sparta and the Olive Oil Museum. We'll then explore the castle-city of Mistras, walking up to the Frankish castle and down the main street to see the Palaiologoi Palace and a number of well-preserved Byzantine Churches. The day concludes with a hike up the Mount of Taygetos to the Taygetos Refuge, where we'll spend the night.

Day eight begins with a night climb to the Pyramid of Taygetos, where we'll enjoy a breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of southern Greece. We'll then walk through the forest of the Roman empire road, the southernmost black pine forest in Europe, towards the village of Arna. After lunch under a huge plane tree at the village square, we'll take a bus to Gytheio and Mavrovouni, where we'll settle at a camping site and enjoy a swim in the sandy beach.

Day nine takes us from Gytheio to the world-famous Diros Caves. We'll then hike to the Lighthouse of Cape Tainaron, visit the Sanctuary of Poseidon, and enjoy a swim and lunch at the beach. On our way back, we'll pass through the traditional settlement of Vatheia and the beautiful village of Gerolimenas. The day concludes with dinner at a nice restaurant in Areopolis.

Day ten takes us through the villages and beaches of the Messenian Mani region. We'll visit Thalamai, Stoupa, the beaches of Calogria and Foneas, and the village of Kardanyli. In the afternoon, we'll hike the Koskaraga gorge, which ends at the beach of Santova. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in the city of Kalamata.

Day eleven begins with a visit to the archaeological site of Ancient Messini and its museum. We'll then walk alongside the River Neda to the Eurynomi’s stomion (underground river) and Neda’s falls. After lunch at Figaleia or Kakovaton, we'll depart for Ancient Olympia for an overnight stay.

The final day of our tour begins with a guided tour of the archaeological site, the museum, and the Olympic Stadium of ancient Greece. We'll then visit the Helmoutsi Castle, the Kotychio Lagoon, and the Strofylia Forest.
