Kefalonia in a day: Full-Day Private Sightseeing Tour

We enjoyed our tour with George. He tailored our experience to our preference. He gave us a lot of information about the entire island. He was a delight and we saw some absolutely beautiful sights!

George was wonderful. He was on time and waiting for us. He listened to what we wanted our day to include and what stopes on the itinerary we weren’t interested in. He was patient and explained travel times, as well as approximate times at each attraction point…. All to make sure we were well within the limited window of our cruise’s stop into Kefalonia. He gave us the exact day we were hoping for. Additionally, he was one of only a few drivers on the island that was committed to driving like a sane person. Thanks George (Γεώργιος) for everything. We had a blast.

What a drive. The views from each location were beautiful. We spent a full day touring some of the top sights and our driver George was not only informative but great fun. He answered all our questions and jiggled the schedule to avoid the queues. The island is so much greener than you could imagine and it was lovely to sit back and let someone else do the driving .

We did a tour around Kefalonia, stopping at a few key places - Melissani Cave, Fiskardo and Myrtos Beach. George, our guide and driver was fantastic, he shared a ton of info about the place, he drove safely and was super nice!

George was fantastic! He rearranged the itinerary for us in order to minimise crowds and to allow us to finish at Antisamos beach. The itinerary was flexible allowing us to tailor it to our own interests. George was very knowledgeable & passionate about Kefalonia and was keen to answer all our questions. His driving was also very safe and the vehicle was very comfortable. We really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it!!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. We had so much fun the beach stop was great and we were able to rent jetskis. Our whole family even my kids who are so hard to please absolutely loved this tour!!

What a fantastic trip

Picked up at the hotel and so began 7/8 hour tour visiting the winery for tasting, the caves, the lake which was busy so we returned later, Asos, Fiskardo and Ithaca beach

Fantastic full day trip round Kefalonia, with private hire, visiting: Robola Winery, Drogarati Cave, Melissani Lake, Antisamos Beach, Myrtos Beach (Photo), Assos Village and Fiskardo Village. George our driver was excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. Order of trip adjusted to suit - didn't want the winery visit early in the morning, so went there at the end of the trip. Highly recommend this trip: you get to see a lot of Kefalonia and Assos and Fiskardo are beautiful

Excellent experience! To begin with, the booking process was very easy. Our driver, George, picked us up from our hotel in a brand new suv. Throughout our trip, George was very professional in every way possible. Also, even though we both suffer from car sickness, he took us on an 8-hour long journey without any problems whatsoever. He also explained everything worth knowing en route, and made our experience a very pleasant one. Oh, and he also takes great pictures!

We were indeed able to see the best of Kefalonia in 8 hours, and had a fun time doing so!

La Rotta are absolutely amazing! They let me personalise and adapt the tour to suit our group and what we wanted to see and do. George, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and knew all the best places for photos and also stopped to show us some extra sights. When we were running behind due to a queue at one of the sights George agreed to stay later to make sure we saw everything. We had an amazing day seeing the sights of Kefalonia and it was enhanced by the most wonderful guide! Thank you so much
