Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the city's vibrant atmosphere. You might want to visit the bustling Syntagma Square, indulge in some retail therapy at the popular shopping district of Kolonaki, or take a leisurely stroll through the charming alleys of Plaka, the city's old district. Here, you'll find a plethora of quaint shops selling souvenirs and local artifacts. Spend the night at your hotel in Athens (or similar), with breakfast included.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive through the fertile plains of the Beotia region. Pass by the towns of Thebes and Levadia, and arrive at the picturesque village of Arachova. Here, you'll visit the awe-inspiring Archaeological Site of Delphi. Continue your journey to Kalambaka, a quaint town nestled at the foot of the majestic Meteora, a complex of gigantic rocks that tower over the Thessalian plains. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kalambaka (or similar).

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the Meteora. Visit the age-old monasteries perched atop these towering rocks and marvel at the exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Depart from Kalambaka and drive through the striking Thessalian plains and the Valley of Tempi. Admire the imposing figure of Mount Olympos, the highest mountain in Greece and the legendary home of the 12 Greek Gods. Arrive in Thessaloniki, Greece's second-largest and most vibrant city. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Thessaloniki (or similar).

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a morning tour of Thessaloniki. This city, once the 'co-reigning' city of the Byzantine Empire, is steeped in history and culture. Visit unique monuments and experience the city's glorious Byzantine past in some of its oldest and most characteristic churches, as well as the Museum of Byzantine Culture, a recipient of the Council of Europe's Museum Prize. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure in the city's lively center. Dinner and an overnight stay in Thessaloniki (or similar) await you.

After breakfast at your hotel, set off for a tour of historical Macedonia. Your first stop is the picturesque town of Edessa, known for its stunning waterfalls. Next, proceed to Naoussa to visit Aristotle's School, where the great philosopher once taught Alexander the Great. Continue to Vergina, where you'll visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai, home to the astonishing findings from the tomb of King Phillip II, Alexander's father. Your last stop is Veria, where you'll visit Saint Paul's Bema and take a stroll through the old Jewish neighborhood and the vibrant market area. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and an overnight stay (or similar).

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting off for the town of Pella, the historical capital of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and the birthplace of Alexander the Great. Marvel at the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th-century B.C. villas, both in situ and in the new museum. Next, visit the Archaeological Park of Dion, the sacred city of the Macedonians, located at the foot of Mount Olympos. After your visit, begin your journey south through Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae (where you'll see the Leonidas' Monument), and Thebes, arriving in Athens in the late afternoon for an overnight stay (or similar).

Wake up to a delightful breakfast at your hotel and enjoy your final day in Athens. You have the option to explore the city at your own pace or join an optional shared half-day excursion to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum (not included). At the indicated time, you'll be transferred to the Athens airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your memorable Greek odyssey.
