Today, we disembark in Athens and travel to the Peloponnese region. We'll make a brief stop at the Corinth Channel, an impressive 19th-century work of art. We then continue through the mountains to Tripoli, the capital of the Arcadia region. After a stroll around the Plaza Areos, we head to Olympia, where we'll visit the archaeological site that hosted the first Olympic Games in 776 B.C. Our final stop for the day is Patras, the third most populous city in Greece, known for its lively port, medieval fortress, and the largest church in Greece. Dinner is included.

On Corfu, we'll visit its capital, Kerkyra, with its intact Venetian-style historic center, and Kanoni, a beautiful Byzantine church on a small island. We'll then return to mainland Greece for our overnight stay in Igoumenitsa.
