Kick off your Balkan adventure in the cultural capital of Europe, Athens. Our tour leader will pick you up from your hotel and drive you towards Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient Greek archaeological sites. Marvel at the Temple of Apollo, the Castallian Fountain, and the Large Sphynx of Naxos, among other monuments. Next, we'll head to Meteora, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, where monasteries perch atop spectacular rock formations. Witness a breathtaking sunset before retiring for the night in Kalabaka.

Our journey continues to Ioannina, a city known for its rich history and beautiful landscapes. Explore the Byzantine and Ottoman architecture as you stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town. Visit the imposing Ioannina Castle and enjoy traditional Greek cuisine in charming local cafes. In the afternoon, we'll drive towards the 'Stone City', Gjirokaster, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Albania. Overnight in Gjirokaster.

Spend the day exploring Gjirokaster, also known as 'The Stone City'. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a fortified city where every house is like a small fortress. Visit the Castle of Gjirokaster, the city's origin, and explore the atmospheric old town with its narrow stone-decorated streets. Don't miss the chance to visit one of the best-preserved houses in Gjirokaster, where everything is totally original and authentic. Overnight in Gjirokaster.

After breakfast, we'll head to Berat, known as the town of 1001 windows and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the narrow stone streets and admire the medieval old houses. Learn about the city's history, which began as an Illyrian settlement and later turned into a castle city known as Antipatrea. Visit the Gorica Neighbourhood and enjoy the lively lower town with its grand old houses, old stone bridge, and great museums. Overnight in Berat.

Today, we'll cross the border towards North Macedonia, but not before making a stop at the Drilon National Park. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the park before heading to Tushemisht, a hidden gem that offers a delightful mix of natural beauty and cultural heritage. Later, we'll visit the Monastery of St. Naum, a holy place situated at the source of the River Crni Drim. Enjoy the crystal clear spring water reflecting the surrounding greenery and mountain peaks. Overnight in Ohrid.

Today, we'll explore Ohrid, one of the oldest human settlements in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the city's famous viewpoint at the Church of St. John, the Church of St. Nicolas, and the Halveti Hayati Tekke Mosque. After a day spent by Lake Ohrid, we'll drive towards Tirana, the vibrant capital of Albania. Overnight in Tirana.

Today, we'll discover the culinary treasures of Tirana. Start your day with a traditional Albanian breakfast of Byrek at a local eatery. Explore the Çam bazaar, savor a traditional dessert at an authentic pastry, and learn about the country's rich coffee culture. Visit the Bicycle bazaar and the New Bazaar, where an array of culinary delights awaits. Try the traditional Albanian lunch of 'Qofte' (meatballs) or freshly baked bread with Albanian Gjize (cottage cheese). Our last stop will be BUNKART, a fascinating museum that was initially designed as a nuclear bunker. Overnight in Tirana.

Our first destination today is Kruja, a historical city symbolizing Albanian resistance against the Ottoman Empire. Explore the city's Medieval Old Bazaar, one of the biggest and oldest in the Balkans, and visit the Castle of Kruja. We'll then cross the border to Kosovo and head towards Prizren, the cultural capital of Kosovo. Explore the town's elegant medieval houses, bustling Turkish bazaars, and cobbled alleyways. Overnight in Prizren.

After breakfast, we'll continue our tour towards Gjakova, known for its old bazaar. Visit the Monastery of Decan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before driving towards the Rahovec Valley, known as the capital city of viticulture in Prizren. Enjoy the beautiful vineyards and taste some fine wines. Overnight in Prizren.

Our first destination today is one of the best slow food Agro-tourism farms in the Balkans. Learn about the farm's history and how it created jobs for more than 400 people in the surrounding area. After a traditional lunch at the farm, we'll drive towards Shkodra, one of the oldest cities in Albania, situated on the banks of the serene Drina River. Explore the city's Venetian-style architecture and visit the Rozafa Castle. Overnight in Shkodra.

Today, we'll cross the border to Montenegro and head towards the city of Budva. Make a stop at the viewpoint near Sveti Stefan, a small island near the coast, before exploring Budva, a popular tourist destination known for its beaches and old characteristic buildings. In the afternoon, we'll drive to Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the city's maze of narrow, cobblestone streets and explore its historic buildings. Overnight near the Montenegrin Riviera.

From Montenegro, we'll cross the border to Bosnia & Herzegovina and head towards the city of Mostar. Visit the iconic Old Bridge, also known as Stari Most, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and wander through the Old Bazaar with its colourful streets and lively atmosphere. We'll also visit the Blagaj Monastery, situated at the foot of a cliff with beautiful blue waters. Overnight in Mostar.

After breakfast, we'll drive from Mostar to our next destination, Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Explore the city's rich history, from its origins to the medieval Bosnian Kingdom. Visit the Latin Bridge, where WWI was triggered, and enjoy the city's delicious meat dishes and desserts. Overnight in Sarajevo.

This is the last day of your Balkan adventure. We'll drive towards Zvornik, situated along the banks of the serene Drina River, before crossing the border towards Serbia. Our final destination is Belgrade, marking the end of this amazing experience through the rich history and culture of the Balkans.
