We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

We will depart on the bus with our guide to the lively Plaka district at the foot of the Acropolis. We will have a taste of the typical local cuisine in one of its famous taverns and watch a dance performance from different regions of this country. -Bus tour with our guide.

We start our day early, heading north to the beautiful seaside city of Kamena Vourla. After a brief stop, we continue to the site of the historic Battle of Thermopylae. Our journey then takes us to Kastraki, a charming village offering stunning views of the valley. After lunch, we explore the breathtaking Meteora Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visit one of its famous monasteries before ending our day in Kalambaka, where a delicious dinner awaits.

Our journey continues south through the Thessaly region to the city of Delphi. Here, we visit the stunning archaeological complex that overlooks the Gulf of Corinth. After lunch, we head to the Osios Loukas Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its magnificent 11th-century mosaics. We end our day in the vibrant city of Athens.

Today, we explore the historic city of Athens with a local guide. Our tour includes the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos stadium, the national library, and the bustling city squares. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Acropolis (entry not included). In the evening, we head to the Plaka area, known for its traditional Greek bars and rich folklore.

We journey to the Peloponnese region, making a brief stop at the impressive Corinth Channel. Our route takes us through the mountains to Tripoli, the capital of the Arcadia region. We then visit the archaeological site of Olympia, where the first Olympic Games were held. Our day concludes in Patras, a lively port city with a remarkable medieval fortress and the largest church in Greece. Dinner is included.

After breakfast, we cross the spectacular Rio-Antirrio bridge to Nafpaktos. We then travel along the Gulf of Corinth to Mycenae, a colossal citadel from the 18th century BC. After some free time for lunch, we visit the fortress of Acrocorinth, where the foundations of an old temple of Aphrodite rest. We make a short stop at the Corinth Canal before returning to Athens in the evening.
