Welcome to Iceland! Your journey begins with your arrival at Keflavik airport. From there, you'll head to your hotel in Reykjavik. If you arrive early, consider exploring the city, perhaps visiting a geothermal pool or a museum. In the evening, meet your guide and fellow travelers at an informational meeting at the hotel. Dinner is at your leisure, with Reykjavik's multitude of restaurants and coffee-houses at your disposal.

After breakfast, your guide will take you on a quick tour of Reykjavik before heading to Lake Thingvallavatn and Thingvellir National Park. Here, you'll walk between two continents and visit the site of the world's oldest parliament. Next, marvel at the Golden Waterfall and the Geysir hot spring area. You'll also visit a local farm where tomatoes are grown using geothermal energy. The day ends in Hveragerdi, a town located in an active geothermal area. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Hveragerdi.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out to explore the enchanting Thjorsardalur valley. If the skies are clear, you'll see the impressive Mt. Hekla volcano. Visit Stong, a replica of a Viking-age longhouse, and drive along the scenic farmlands of Iceland's South Shore. Stop to admire the scenic waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, and continue to Dyrholaey and the thundering waves of the Reynisfjara black sand beaches. End the day in Vik, Iceland's southernmost town, where you'll have dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast, you'll head to the southern area of Vatnajokull National Park, home to Europe's largest glacier. Drive through vast sand plains and visit the park's famous Skaftafell area. Enjoy the views of green landscapes and black sands dominated by several magnificent glaciers. Visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and the nearby Diamond Beach. Your overnight stay is in Hofn, a fishing port in the shadow of Vatnajokull glacier. Dinner is on your own, with a nice selection of restaurants and cafes in Hofn.

Start your day with a drive from Hofn through Almannaskard pass, stopping to admire the majestic coastline. Continue to the towering mountains of the East Fjords. Pass through charming villages, each with its own special history. Visit the Beljandi Microbrewery in the tiny village of Breiddalsvik and sample some wonderful beer. The road brings you to Egilsstadir town, located near Iceland's largest forest and a lake said to be home to a legendary monster. Enjoy a locally sourced dinner and overnight stay in Egilsstadir.

Today, you'll explore the amazing variety of natural landscapes in Snaefellsjokull National Park. See Kirkjufell, one of the most photographed mountains in Iceland, and walk along the uniquely pebbled seascape of Djupalonssandur beach. At the picturesque harbor village of Arnarstapi, observe magnificent basalt rocks in stacked formations. Visit Bjarnarhofn Shark Museum, where you'll learn about 'hakarl', the cured shark meat specialty. At the end of the afternoon, your motor coach heads back to Reykjavik. Overnight stay will be in Reykjavik.
