This was the second part of our 4-day itinerary. Our guide/driver Þore (hope I spelled her name correctly) is a native Icelander from a small village in the east of the country. Her (often humorous) anecdotes and explanations gave us great insights into Iceland’s history and culture. The final day visiting the Snæfellsnes Peninsula was like a tour of Iceland in miniature. How can a small country have so much amazing scenery? We’ll be back!

First day we were with Gooli. Saw the major sights on the Snaefellness Peninsula. Felt like we had adequate time at each stop. We even got to see an artic fox and her cub at a rest stop area. So many seals on our last stop. We were dropped of at Vesterlund hotel for the night which was very comfortable. 2nd day we were picked up by new guide, Dominique. Lots of energy! This day was Silver Circle and there were some stops I could have passed on. Always like a waterfall! The power company stop could have been passed and the Snoori historical stop was just boring. Great lunch stop this day at a waterfall. The highlight of the day was the lava tube cave.

What can I say, this is my second visit to iceland and it has once again blown me away with its beauty. I took this small group tour over 2 days to explore some more of iceland. We had a tour guide named 'jake' (his real name was long and hard to remember so this was what he told us) He was a great guide, very clear and informative about everything, he adapted to change when toilets were unexpectedly closed due to Easter, making sure we still had toilet stops. He also included some extra stops which was super appreciated as we were lucky enough to have a good group who were always back on time, giving us some spare time at the end, it was great that jake utilised this time to help us see some more places.
Nice travel tours are really well organised, have some really great stop offs to must see locations, the small bus they use is comfortable and with single seats for solo travellers (myself) which was great, WiFi and USB charging also available. They also have great communication via email for any queries with speedy response. Very happy to recommend this company to anyone looking for a fab tour in iceland!
I am 100% sure this will not be my last tour with them!
