Upon your arrival at Keflavik Airport, collect your luggage and rental car, then set off for your hotel. Your journey takes you along the mystical South Coast, past rocky beaches and thundering waves, to the charming village of Hveragerdi. Known as the 'flower village' due to its many greenhouses heated by geothermal springs, Hveragerdi offers a unique glimpse into small-town Icelandic culture. Spend the night in the Hveragerdi area.

Start your day with a visit to the stunning Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir hot spring area, home to the famous Strokkur geyser. Continue along the scenic South Shore, passing the infamous Eyjafjallajokull volcano and stopping at the interactive LAVA Centre. Marvel at the beautiful Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and opt for a snowmobiling trip on the Myrdalsjokull glacier. Explore the seafront village of Vik and the dramatic coastline of Reynisfjara. If you visit during the summer, don't miss Dyrholaey, a rocky headland known for its black lava arch and nesting sea birds. Overnight in Vik.

Today, explore the vast Vatnajokull National Park, home to Europe's largest glacier. Visit the Skaftafell area, a green oasis nestled between glaciers, and take a hike to the basalt-lined Svartifoss Falls. Continue to the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon, where you can marvel at the shimmering icebergs and perhaps spot sunbathing seals. Consider taking a boat trip on the lagoon or visiting the nearby Diamond Beach, where pieces of glaciers glitter on the black sand. Return to Vik in the late afternoon for your overnight stay.
