Adventure trip to Iceland

Welcome to Iceland! Upon your arrival at Keflavík Airport, you'll take a scheduled bus to Reykjavik, the vibrant capital city. At 17:00, you'll meet your guide at the hostel for an informative meeting. Afterward, you'll embark on an orientation walk around the city center, getting a first taste of Reykjavik's charm. The evening is yours to enjoy dinner or drinks at your leisure.

After breakfast, we'll set off for the South Coast of Iceland. Our journey will take us to the awe-inspiring waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, and the glacier Sólheimajökull. We'll also visit the charming town of Vík. Our day concludes in the enchanting village of Laugarvatn, nestled amidst misty fells, where we'll spend the next two nights.

Today, we'll explore the famous Golden Circle, starting with the Kerid volcanic crater lake. We'll marvel at the majestic Gullfoss Waterfalls and witness the spectacle of The Great Geysir and Strokkur Geysir. We'll also enjoy a relaxing bath in a geothermal lagoon. In the evening, you have the optional activity of white water rafting down the Hvítá river, a thrilling adventure through beautiful canyons.

We'll start the day by heading towards the Snæfellsnes peninsula, known as 'Iceland in Miniature'. Our first stop will be at the UNESCO protected Þingvellir National Park, followed by a visit to the town of Borgarnes. We'll explore the coastal rock formations in Arnarstapi and hopefully spot some seals on Ytri Tunga beach. In the afternoon, we'll embark on a guided tour of the 8000-year-old Vatnshellir cave. We'll end the day in the picturesque seaside village of Stykkishólmur.

Our exploration of Snæfellsnes continues as we visit Bjarnarhöfn, a local shark museum. We'll traverse the stunning landscapes of the peninsula, stopping by the glistering glacier Snæfellsjökull and the beautiful Hraunfossar waterfalls. By evening, we'll return to the capital city of Reykjavik, where you'll have free time to explore.

On our final day, we'll embark on an exciting whale watching tour at the Old Harbour. After this thrilling experience, you'll check out from the hostel and prepare for your departure. If your flight schedule allows, you may choose to visit the famous Blue Lagoon near the airport before your flight. This concludes our unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes of Iceland.
