Iceland Northern Lights Adventure

Your Icelandic adventure begins with a transfer from Keflavik Airport to your hotel in Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital. As you travel, marvel at the stark volcanic landscapes that characterize this part of the island. After checking in, you have the rest of the day to explore the city at your leisure. As night falls, keep an eye on the sky for the ethereal glow of the Northern Lights.

Today, we explore the vibrant city of Reykjavik, with its mix of traditional and modern architecture. Highlights include a walk along the waterfront and a visit to the iconic Hallgrimskirkja church. In the afternoon, we head to Thingvellir National Park, a site of significant historical and geological interest. Here, you can stand on the boundary of two tectonic plates. We end the day at a hotel located away from city lights, increasing our chances of witnessing the mesmerizing Northern Lights.

Today, we journey through the Eyjafjallajokull region, home to the infamous 2010 volcanic eruption. We visit the rocky beach of Vik I Myrdal, marvel at the towering Skogafoss waterfall, and learn about Iceland's geology at the Lava Museum. We also explore Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind the cascading water. As evening falls, we return to our hotel to relax and watch for the Northern Lights.

Today, we explore the famous Golden Circle, starting with the magnificent Gullfoss waterfalls. We then visit the Great Geysir, the first spouting spring known to Europeans. An optional visit to the Secret Lagoon is available. In the afternoon, we return to Reykjavik, where you can enjoy a final dinner in one of the city's many excellent restaurants.

Our unforgettable Icelandic adventure comes to an end today. After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Keflavik Airport for your onward journey. Please note that the itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather or road conditions.
