Today is about the sheer force of nature's power. We visit the rumbling volcano of Eyjafjallajokull and the thundering Skogafoss waterfall. An optional hike on the Solheimajokull glacier offers enchanting icy scenery. If you opt out, we continue south to stroll on the black lava beach and see the bird cliffs at Reynisfjara near Vik. We return to Hella before dark, giving us another chance to catch the Northern Lights.
