Your Icelandic adventure begins at Reykjavík's City Hall, where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers. From there, we'll take a scenic bus ride to Landmannalaugar, passing Iceland's most active volcano, Hekla, along the way. Once in Landmannalaugar, we'll embark on a hike through the geothermal wonderland, marveling at the colorful mountains and steaming hot springs. We'll spend the night in a cozy hut in Landmannalaugar.

After a communal breakfast, we'll continue our journey, passing by the beautiful Storihver hot spring and crossing into the obsidian desert of Hrafntinnusker. We'll then descend into the Jokultungur area, where the geothermal activity has painted the gullies in vibrant shades of yellow and red. Our day ends at the serene lake Alftavatn, where we'll spend the night.
Day 3 – Day 3: Alftavatn to Botnar

Our third day begins with a refreshing stream crossing as we make our way through the black glacial desert of Maelifellssandur and into the lush region of Emstrur. Here, we'll enjoy views of the Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull glaciers before reaching our overnight stop in the green oasis of Botnar.

On the fourth day, we'll leave Botnar behind and head towards Thorsmork, a green valley nestled under the glaciers Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull. As we descend towards Almenningar, we'll pass under the unique mountain Einhyrningur and enter a dense birch forest. We'll spend the night in this magnificent location.

We'll start the day early and head for the mountain pass between the two glaciers, Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull. We'll hike up to the new craters formed in 2010, Magni and Modi, and marvel at the formation of lava in a waterfall shape. After a day of exploration, we'll return to Thorsmork for a traditional Icelandic grilled lamb dinner.

On the final day of our tour, we'll explore the surroundings of Thorsmork, hiking up the mountain Valahnukur for a fantastic view over the valley. You can also choose to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In the early evening, we'll return to Reykjavík, where our unforgettable journey ends.
