Our standard menu includes milk products, fish, nuts, meat and bread so if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, have allergies or have other specific food preferences then you are required to pay a supplementary fee for food outside of the standard menu. This will help us in supplying the best meals possible for everyone. The meals are prepared by all participants, guides and the team. Although the guide is usually the leader on the project this can go all ways. We have found that this brings the group together and makes a nice, fun and cozy atmosphere. Make food and friends at the same time.

All customers are automatically assigned to a 2 person tent, either sharing with someone from their group or from the same gender. If you'd like guaranteed privacy, you can reserve a single person tent and pay a supplimental fee. Showers are found in every hut/campsite except the one at Hrafntinnusker. Using the showers costs 900 ISK and can be paid for at the warden’s hut at each hut/campsite. The WC have toilet paper and soap for washing your hands. Anything else you might need for example shampoo, bandages, towels, washcloths, nail clippers etc. you will need to bring with you.

Brennisteinsalda, with its multicolored slopes, will be a highlight of our day. If time permits, we will also visit Graenagil and ascend Blahnukur. After a day of exploration, we will return to our campsite for a delightful dinner and a relaxing soak in the Landmannalaugar hot springs.

After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on our hike across the Hrafntinnusker black obsidian desert. The vibrantly colored rhyolite mountains of Reykjafjöll will captivate us as we make our way to the peak of Jökultungur. Here, we will be rewarded with stunning views over Fjallabak and the serene Álfavatn lake. An exhilarating river crossing on foot will add to the day's adventure. In the evening, we will unwind with a well-deserved dinner and soak in the breathtaking views of the Icelandic Highlands.

As we continue, we will encounter the dramatic Markarfljótsgljúfur gorge, a deep chasm carved by glacial waters. After breakfast, we will leave Botnar and head towards Þórsmörk. Our journey will take us through the Almenningar gorge, close to Mount Einhyrningur, where we will be treated to unparalleled views of the surrounding glaciers. As we enter Þórsmörk, the landscape will transform into a dense birch forest and stunning mountainous scenery, marking the completion of the Laugavegur trail. On our return to Reykjavík, we will catch a glimpse of the majestic Seljalandsfoss waterfall. We will arrive back in Reykjavík around 21:30, with drop-off at the BSI bus stop.
