Blasket Island Eco Tour.

Wonderful!!! The most beautiful views on the Great Blasket Island! Baby seals on the island and Dolphins on the way back! I went on the boat tour with my family in May. The boat ride was comfortable, I was able to use both the outside and inside seating. There is a clean toilet on the boat. The eco talk about the area and the Blasket Islands was informative. We spent 2 hours on the island, which is plenty to enjoy the glorious views, walk around the houses and to relax on the beach. There is a little shop and toilets for public use on the island. On the way back we were followed by a group of dolphins. Can't wait to return!!

We nearly missed the boat and are so glad we didn’t.

3 hour trip passed quite quickly. Our guide was great. Local knowledge and stories were informative and fun. For a good 20 minutes we had dolphins around the boat. There were a few puffins too. On the beach of the Blasket Islands we saw seals and sheep right next to each other. Can’t say I’ve seen that before.

Highly recommend! One of the best decisions of our trip. Lovely tour guide with information about the peninsula, history, facts, etc. - plus what's not to love about seeing dolphins!! Bundle up though even with warm weather the sea is very cold.

Bundle up for this scenic boat ride of your lifetime. From the welcome as we entered to Anna equipping me with layers to keep warm to the historical narration of the Blasket Islands to watching the colony of seals play on the beach this three hour experience was a delightful one.

The views were amazing from the “get-go”. The crew was a great narrator of information and watched out for all of us.

Amazing Tour, we were lucky and saw seals, puffins, dolphins and even a humpback whale (first of the year).

It was a good tour even without the whales. The crew will give you a lot of information about the islands and the animals.

The whole trip was professional and amazing. The boat captain was a true gent and very funny. Loved every second of it and it was thrilling bouncing over the waves. We saw dolphins, seal and stags. This is something I will never forget and it was the cherry on the cake for our week in Kerry.

We went on nua rib boat with family friends and teenagers. Although weather wasn't great the experience was still fantastic would highly recommend it . Nice people and great day out well worth the money . Skipper had great knowledge of cliffs, caves, island etc

This tour is really good value for money. You get to see all the key places plus unexpected pleasures along the way. Declan, our guide was particularly generous and helpful and went out of his way to ensure that we saw a family of dolphins, puffins, a minky whale, the huge seal colony and all the views of the blasket islands including wild deer. His commentary was insightful and interesting to both adults and kids. I'm definitely going again!

We had the most amazing time on the rib which was great fun in itself! We toured all around the cliffs, out to the Blaskets taking in neighbouring islands. Beautiful scenery and the kids loved getting splashed by the dolphins, the puffins were a delight to see and the seals along the island’s coast. It was an unforgettable experience and you are truly out there in the wilds of the Atlantic. Do it!
