We kick off our adventure from the lively city of Galway, heading straight into the untamed wilderness of Connemara. Our first stop is the boggy slopes of Errisbeg Hill, where we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Wild Atlantic Way's pristine beaches and rolling hills. We then descend to the charming fishing village of Roundstone, where we'll end the day with a hearty dinner and traditional Irish music at a local pub.

Day two takes us into the heart of Connemara National Park, home to the stunning Twelve Bens mountain range. We'll hike through the backcountry to the summit of one of these majestic peaks, keeping an eye out for peregrine falcons, wild mountain goats, and native red deer along the way.

Day four offers a gentle coastal hike along the shores of the stunning Killary Fjord. As we traverse the rocky outcroppings and grassy plains, we'll delve into Irish history, passing by abandoned famine-era villages and learning about the local aquaculture industry that sustains the Connemara community today.

On day five, we'll conquer Mweelrea, the highest mountain in Connacht. The climb is worth it for the spectacular views alone - to the south, the mountain falls steeply to the waters of Killary Harbour, while to the east, the sprawling Sheeffry Hills and Ben Gorm mountain stretch out before us. To the west, we'll see the white sandy shores of the Atlantic.

Day six sees us making a pilgrimage up the sacred Croagh Patrick, a tradition dating back over 5,000 years. We'll take a less-travelled route, following the ridge to the tiny white church at the summit. From there, we'll enjoy a spectacular view of Clew Bay before heading into the lovely town of Westport to explore its charming cafes, pubs, and shops.

On the final day of our tour, enjoy a free morning in Westport. Whether you choose to relax at your accommodation, do some last-minute souvenir shopping, or take a leisurely stroll around this bustling town, the choice is yours. We'll then head to the train station to bid farewell to the group.
