Hiking - The Dingle Way

We begin our journey in the vibrant city of Limerick, where we'll enjoy a hearty welcome lunch. From there, we head south to the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula. Our first activity is a leisurely lakeside stroll along the Dingle Way, a perfect way to stretch our legs before our first group dinner.

Our day begins at the picturesque Minard Castle, where we'll learn about its history. We then continue through serene fields, enjoying views over Dingle Bay and the Iveragh Peninsula. Our hike ends in the vibrant Dingle Town, known for its traditional Irish music, lively pubs, and friendly locals.

Today, we embark on our first climb of the trip, ascending the saddle of Mount Eagle. The hike offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic and a chance to explore ancient archaeological sites, including standing stones and pre-historic monuments.

Our day begins with a visit to a local pottery studio, where we'll learn about the art of pottery making. We then embark on a beach hike along the white sand shores of Smerwick Harbour and Wine Strand, with the iconic Three Sisters hills as our backdrop.

Today, we take on the challenge of climbing over the saddle of the holy Mount Brandon. We'll pass by pre-historic Ogham stones and enjoy panoramic ocean views. After our descent, we'll head to the quaint Brandon Village for a well-deserved pint.

After yesterday's climb, we'll enjoy a leisurely walk along the Maharees, Ireland's longest white sand beach. We'll also visit a local woodcarver's workshop before heading back to Dingle Town for a final celebratory dinner.

On our final day, we'll enjoy a morning stroll along one of Dingle's iconic beaches before heading back to Limerick. From there, you can begin your journey home, taking with you the memories of a truly unforgettable Irish adventure.
