South West Ireland Uncovered (Hotel) - 5 days

We kick off our Irish adventure in Dublin, heading west to Galway. En route, we stop at the Kilbeggan Distillery for a taste of their famous whiskey. We then visit the ancient Clonmacnoise Abbey, a significant spiritual site. After a traditional pub lunch, we arrive in Galway, our resting place for the night. Accommodation: Western Hotel, Nox Hotel or similar.

Day two takes us to the iconic Burren, a unique limestone landscape. We then visit Kilfenora, the 'town of the crosses', before heading to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. After a scenic drive through County Clare, we reach Killarney, our base for the next three nights. Accommodation: The Fairview Hotel, Arbutus Hotel or similar.

Day three is dedicated to exploring the stunning Dingle Peninsula. We visit Inch Beach and Slea Head, offering breathtaking views of the Blasket Islands. After some leisure time in Dingle town, we return to Killarney for the night. Accommodation: The Fairview Hotel, Arbutus Hotel or similar.

Day four is all about the wild side of South West Ireland. We explore the Ring of Kerry route, visit Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain, and stop at the quaint fishing village of Portmagee. We also visit Derrynane House, home to the O'Connell family. We end the day back in Killarney. Accommodation: The Fairview Hotel, Arbutus Hotel or similar.

On the final day, we journey back to Dublin, stopping at the famous Blarney Castle. You can even kiss the Blarney Stone if you wish! We also visit Kilkenny, a vibrant city with an impressive ancient castle and a remarkable National Craft Centre. Our Irish adventure concludes as we arrive back in Dublin.
