Begin your journey in the city of Tralee, where you'll catch a local bus or taxi to the small town of Camp. Spend the rest of the day settling in and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Travel south through moorland and conifer plantations, enjoying superb views of Inch Strand and Castlemaine Harbour. Arrive in Annascaul, the home town of Irish explorer Tom Creen, and visit The South Pole pub to see artefacts from his travels.

Embark on the most challenging day of the tour, crossing the shoulder of Mount Brandon and descending to Brandon Bay. Arrive in the village of Cloghane, named after the famous explorer Saint Brandon.
