Day 1 – Day 1: Rome to Naples

Begin your journey at Rome's Termini Station, where you'll meet the Destination Italia assistant. From there, you'll take a high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Naples at your leisure. You may also opt for an additional tour (availability to be confirmed 15 days before the tour begins). Overnight stay in Naples.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pompeii for a semi-private guided tour of the archaeological excavations. Discover the ancient Roman city that was preserved under volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. After the tour, transfer to Sorrento, known for its picturesque old town and the charming fisherman’s village of Marina Grande. Upon arrival, a local assistant will provide you with information regarding the upcoming activities. Overnight stay in Sorrento.

After breakfast, depart for the port and sail to Capri on a traditional Gozzo Sorrentino. Enjoy a boat trip around the island with the option to swim in its crystal-clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (subject to weather conditions and queue). Once on the island, continue by minibus to the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island. Spend some free time exploring Capri before returning to Sorrento for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer from Sorrento to Amalfi with a 2-hour stop in Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Continue to Amalfi, a town rich in history and charm. Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Amalfi.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and spend the morning at leisure in Amalfi. In the afternoon, transfer directly from Amalfi to Naples. At Naples train station, our local assistant will help you board the high-speed train to Rome. Arrival at Rome's Termini Station is scheduled around 7:45 p.m.
