From Civitavecchia: Private Rome Highlights Tour w/ Tickets

This was a great tour to fit in many of the Rome highlights during a condensed port day. Transportation was on time, clean, and comfortable. Our driver, Andrea, was kind and professional. The private transportation provided a great way to navigate to/from the port as well as get efficiently through the crowded and spread out sights of Rome. Our tour guide, Maria, was absolutely wonderful. She provided so much history and guidance at all the sights--we learned so much while touring with her versus when we have visited on our own before. She was kind and engaging for both of our kids and provided information that was relevant and interesting to both adult and kid audiences. All the skip the line tours were booked in advance by the tour guide and quickly got us to the front of all the lines, bypassing very large crowds. Highly recommend this tour to have a more in-depth experience versus a big group tour, especially if you have a tight schedule coming from Civitavecchia.

The tour was supposed to include Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, but it had to be skipped due to poor time management by the tour guide (she spent too much time in the Coliseum). In addition, the tour guide spoke very poor English and was hard to understand. The front of the line tickets were great and saved tons of time.

Truly amazing tour. If you want to pack 3 days of sightseeing into one day, this is your tour! Guide was knowledgeable and cared about what we wanted to do and explained everything thoroughly.

If you want to feel like royalty, book this tour! Our family was treated so well by our driver, Andrew and our private guide, Ximena. Ximena knew all of the tricks for getting into the highlighted attractions. She was so informative about each location. Andrew was driving our air-conditioned van, and was available at each location as soon as we were ready to move on to the next one. We saw the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, Vatican city which included the Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Rome was super busy while we visited, but our driver and our Guide were able to move our family around the busyness with much ease. Our driver and our guide were very aware of our time constraint from our cruise ship. They tailored our day to accommodate our need to be back to the ship on time.

Our tour guide and driver were both excellent. Our tour guide was informative and knowledgeable but was also very much aware of our time limitations we wanted to spend at each site and return to our cruise ship in a timely manner.

Thomas was great, goes at your pace on the private tour, will help you see what you want. Really knows his stuff! Excellent arrangements, on time for pick up and drop off at my ship just over an hour away fom Rome at the crusie port. If you only have one day, this is your best option.
