Learn How to Make Traditional Tuscan Tagliatelle in Florence

Cooking traditional pasta dishes was probably at the top of my list of things to do in Italy. Francesca was so welcoming and an excellent host. It felt such an achievement to make and then eat the pasta in such beautifully flavoured sauces. We would definitely recommend Francesca to all our friends and family who might travel to Florence.

This was our first time making pasta, and Francesca was so lovely & made everything super easy for us to understand. We're going to buy a pasta machine as soon as we get home! Delicious food, wine & friendly Figaro - perfect morning in Florence.

What a wonderful experience. The class was in Francesca’s apartment. She and Figaro the golden retriever were amazing hosts. The class was engaging and beautiful. We learned a lot in a very relaxing and comforting environment. Francesca’s love for food and art was evident throughout. Was the perfect experience for me and my daughter. Thank you!

I took my 11 year old son who loves to cook on this experience. We learned to make 2 kinds of pasta from scratch and enjoyed a meal! Francesca was wonderful, patient, and welcoming in her home. I highly recommend this class!

We were completely surprised about how small the class was and how fun it could be in someone’s home! Francesca is so kind, and a great teacher! It was delicious too!! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it!

Francesca was a lovely easy going host, we chatted about our families as well as food ! She explained the steps and gave us cooking hints. Showed how to use the pasta machine and offered help as we got on with it. Explained the tools and pasta cutters. Served wine and cold drinks with our pasta lunch. Lovely modern apartment and homely outdoor space for eating lunch.

This experience was everything I was looking for! Personal, insightful, and delicious. It’s a great way to meet fellow travelers, learn a tradition skill, and enjoy a bite to eat all in just a few hours! Francesca is a wonderful host and instructor. She welcomed us into her home and shared her love of food with us. I could ask for nothing more!

Incredible host ! So friendly, helpful and informative ! Couldn’t ask for anything more! She made us feel welcome in her home and as an extra bonus we had cuddles with her dog ! The food was amazing and we’ve come away with some ideas to try at home!

The experience was supposed to be shared but the others didn’t show up. Francesca spent some time talking to them and even offered to try to call them a taxi herself (as they were struggling). She made countless offers to help them but in the end they didn’t show! It was great for us as we got more time with Francesca.
