Today, we journey to the Italian Lakes region, starting with Lake Orta in the medieval town of Orta de San Giulio. We'll take a train ride to the town center and a boat to the Island of San Giulio. Next, we visit Lake Maggiore, stopping in Stresa, where you can opt to visit Isola Bella's gardens and palace. After lunch, we continue to Verona.

We start the day in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, before heading to Venice. Upon arrival, we'll take a boat trip to St Mark’s Square and enjoy a guided stroll around the City of Canals. You'll also have the opportunity to admire the famous Murano glasswork. The rest of the day is yours to explore, perhaps with a gondola ride. Overnight in the Mestre district.

Today, we leave Venice for Padova, a destination for many pilgrims, where we'll visit the Saint’s Basilica. We then travel to the Adriatic coast to visit San Marino, a small independent country atop a fortified mountain. After lunch, we journey through the scenic mountain countryside, crossing the Apennines to Gubbio, a beautifully preserved medieval town. We end the day in Perugia.

We start the day exploring Perugia with a local guide, marveling at its stone streets and squares. We then travel to Assisi, where we'll have time for lunch and a visit to the Basilica of St Francis. In the afternoon, we journey to Rome, arriving in the late afternoon.

Today, we explore the eternal city of Rome. We start with a scenic tour of the city, including a visit to the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. In the evening, we head to the Trastevere district, where you can stroll through narrow cobbled streets, discover hidden treasures, and enjoy local dishes at traditional trattorias.
