Mont Blanc TMB Half Circuit

After a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic trek through lush larch forests to the Rifugio Bertone, a perfect spot for a morning cappuccino. Weather permitting, we'll ascend the Mont de la Saxe ridge, offering stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Grandes Jorasses. After a visit to the Refuge Bonatti, we'll descend to the serene valley of Val Ferret, where we'll enjoy a well-deserved rest and a delicious dinner.

Today, we'll ascend to the Grand Col Ferret, the border between Italy and Switzerland. Along the way, we'll stop at Refuge Elena for a refreshing break. As we descend to La Peule, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch featuring local produce. The final leg of our journey takes us through wildflower meadows to the quaint village of La Fouly, where we'll check into the delightful Hotel Edelweiss (or similar) for the night.

Our journey continues through the Swiss Val Ferret, where we'll pass through the picturesque villages of Praz de Fort and Issert. We'll admire the charming Alpine architecture and tranquil surroundings before reaching the village of Champex, nestled by a deep blue lake. Here, we'll check into the Hotel Splendide (or similar) and enjoy a restful evening.

Today's trek takes us across the Fenetre d'Arpette, one of the most stunning points on the TMB circuit. We'll marvel at the views of the Trient Glacier and the Plateau du Trient before descending to the town of Martigny, nestled in the Rhone Valley. Here, we'll enjoy a restful night and prepare for the next day's adventure.

We'll start the day with a transfer to Col de la Forclaz, followed by a challenging climb to the Col de Balme, the border between Switzerland and France. As we descend towards the village of Le Tour, we'll be treated to panoramic views of the Mont Blanc range. Our final destination for the day is the French village of Argentiere, where we'll enjoy a well-earned rest and a delicious meal.
