This was an amazing experience. We learned so much about the wine making processes, sampled incredible wines, and were treated to generous portions of delicious food. Maria was an excellent host and I cannot speak more highly of the wines made at this vineyard. The only improvement would be for Podere Casanova to offer a shuttle to and from central Montepulciano (at an additional cost). Getting there can be hard - there aren’t many taxi companies and the taxi is quite expensive. It was totally worth the experience and not a reflection on Podere Casanova what so ever.

Allessandro and Sofia were perfecto. So welcoming. The personal tour with Allessandro was so interesting. Wine tastings paired with the food were amazing. Best lasagne ever. Molto bene!!

Irina, our Guide, is ab absolute perfect Guide! This evening was unbelievable nice thanks her an of course also of the very good wine, everything what we eated and also because of the romantic and nice ambiance. On the end Irina played for us on the piano two songs and was also singing for us. What a wanderful place on the Cassanova wine farm. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed the wine tour with Sommelier Alexander who was vey knowledgable about all things related to the grape, Sangiovese, the organic growing strategies and the crushing, fermentation and aging process of the various wines. We had a lovely and very filling lunch in the vineyard with generous servings of four wines by Sophia and Alexander. We bought two bottles and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon. Grazie!
