Private Half Day Parma Food Walking Tour

Roberta was our food and walking tour guide for the city of Parma. We were so impressed with Roberta’s knowledge of Parma and of the different foods we ate. My nephew and I enjoyed Roberta’s explaining to us the aging and process of the cheeses and the different cows producing such cheeses. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Parma and Roberta was instrumental in us having a wonderful time. Thank you Roberta.

Michelle was a fantastic guide who was so knowledgeable about Parma - its history, its food and its other products like perfumes and violets. We really enjoyed our time on the tour and the tasting stops were delicious and very generous.

Lisa was an amazing guide for our tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Her suggestions were great and she was very personable- it was like we’d known her forever! Perfect stops and everything was delicious. We did the pay as you go option because of a few food allergies and it was perfect for our family. Highly recommend it even if it’s the only thing you go to Parma for.

Michelle was a wonderful guide showing my family around the city of Parma. We had 12 people, 4 of which were children and we all had a really wonderful time. We took the train in from Milan and spent the day. Tasting the food of the region was truly a highlight and Michelle’s knowledge of the area was outstanding. We got to see highlights throughout the city and would definitely recommend this tour if you only have a day in the area.

As an Italian living abroad, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know more about my country and its traditions. For my partner—who is not Italian—this was even more of a treat, as he got to experience a (half) day full of incredibly tasty food and learn about the history and traditions behind it. Plus, the food was truly delicious! We visited only local and traditional places, tasting something new at each stop. We ate so much! 😅

Roberta is a great storyteller; she explained the ins and outs of how the incredible food we tasted was created. Since the tour was just for the two of us, she took the time to answer all our questions, making it feel truly special and tailored to our needs.
