Welcome to Naples, the vibrant city that marks the start of your Italian adventure. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our Local Insider at your hotel, Hotel Palazzo Salgar (or similar). At 6pm, join your fellow travellers for a welcome drink, followed by a delightful three-course Neapolitan dinner. You may choose to end the night with a drink at a local bar or return to the hotel for a restful sleep.

Bid farewell to the Amalfi Coast as we journey to Matera in the Basilicata region. Known for its ancient hillside cave dwellings, Matera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the 2019 European Capital of Culture. Embark on a guided walking tour through the city's narrow, winding streets and soak in its rich history. Check into your hotel, Corte San Pietro (or similar), for a comfortable night's stay.

Today, we venture eastwards into the scenic Itria Valley in the Puglia region. Marvel at the unique trulli houses in Alberobello on a guided tour and explore the picturesque town of Locorotondo. If you're a cycling enthusiast, you can opt for an e-bike tour through the olive groves and vineyards of the valley. After a refreshing lunch in Locorotondo, we head to the coastal town of Polignano a Mare, where you'll be staying at the Cala Ponte Hotel (or similar).

Enjoy a leisurely day in Polignano a Mare. After a relaxed breakfast, you can explore the old town, soak up the laid-back atmosphere in the main square, or unwind at the secluded Lama Monachile beach. As the evening sets in, head to Pietra Piatta or Balconata sul Mare for stunning views of the town and the Adriatic Sea.

Wave goodbye to Polignano a Mare as we travel to Lecce. En route, we'll stop at the Castellana Caves for a guided tour of the underground chambers. Next, we visit Il Frantoio olive farm for a tasting of the region's famous olive oil. We then continue to the hilltop town of Ostuni, known as the White City, for a guided walking tour and lunch at a traditional Puglian farmhouse.
