After breakfast, we'll embark on a morning excursion to the ancient royal town of Monreale, renowned for its fine Norman architecture. Here, we'll visit the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll then return to Palermo for a walking tour of the Old Town, where we'll explore the Palermo Cathedral and marvel at its stunning mix of architectural influences. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure before we return to the hotel for dinner.

We'll start the day early with a visit to the medieval village of Erice, nestled on the side of Monte San Giuliano. Next, we'll explore the Saline, a unique lagoon where history, nature, and archaeology converge. Our journey continues to Marsala, famous for its namesake wine, where we'll enjoy a tasting session at a traditional tavern. We'll then head to Agrigento to visit the Valley of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before checking into our hotel for the night.

After breakfast, we'll travel to the enchanting city of Ragusa. We'll explore its historical center, 'Ibla', home to stunning Baroque palaces and churches that have earned it a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Highlights include the old gate of San Giorgio, the Giardini Iblei, and the elegant Cathedral of San Giorgio. After a day of exploration, we'll return to our hotel for dinner and a restful night.

Today, we'll journey to the picturesque town of Noto, known for its stately Baroque architecture. We'll visit the restored Cathedral of San Nicolò before heading to Syracuse, where we'll explore the ancient island of Ortygia. In the late afternoon, we'll arrive in the beautiful town of Taormina, where we'll check into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing dinner.

After breakfast, we'll venture to Mount Etna, Europe's largest active volcano. Here, we'll learn about its volcanic activity and admire the stunning landscapes shaped by lava flows. Weather permitting, you'll have the opportunity to climb to the summit. We'll then return to Taormina, where you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
