Taste of Salento-Authentic Culinary Experience

Upon your arrival at the airport, we'll whisk you away to a charming farmhouse in the heart of Puglia. After settling in, join us for a tour of the farmhouse and learn about the traditional oil-making process. End the day with a delightful dinner featuring typical Salento dishes, made with fresh, organic vegetables from the farmhouse.

After breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic tour of the Adriatic coast, stopping at the Acquaviva marina and Marina Serra. We'll then visit the historic center of Castro, where you'll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we'll head to Santa Maria di Leuca, the easternmost town of Italy. After a day of exploration, we'll return to the farmhouse for a leisurely evening and a traditional fish dinner.

Today, we'll explore the Ionian coast and the historic town of Gallipoli. After a morning of sightseeing, you'll have free time to sample local cuisine before we return to the farmhouse for some rest. In the afternoon, we'll visit Lecce, known as the 'Pearl of the Baroque'. A professional guide will accompany us as we explore this beautiful city. The day ends with a dinner at a typical Neapolitan pizzeria, where you can taste authentic Italian pizza.

Today, we'll venture into the Valle d'Itria and visit the unique town of Alberobello, known for its traditional 'Trulli' houses. After a guided tour and some free time for shopping, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we'll head to Ostuni, a popular summer resort town known as the 'White City'. After a guided tour of Ostuni, we'll return to the farmhouse for dinner.

Today is dedicated to the gastronomic delights of Puglia. We'll visit Maglie and explore some of the most important artisan food workshops in the area, including a pasta factory, a mozzarella cheese factory, and a chocolate workshop. After some free time in Maglie, we'll enjoy wine tasting in a historic cellar. In the afternoon, we'll return to the farmhouse for a cooking class with Chef Emilio, where you'll learn how to prepare 'home-made pasta salentina' and other Italian fresh pasta. Dinner will feature the dishes you've prepared during the class.

After breakfast, we'll take a tour of the Adriatic coast with a stop in Otranto, home to the 15th-century Aragonese Castle and 11th-century Otranto Cathedral. You'll have free time to explore the city and enjoy lunch. We'll also visit the small fishing villages of Porto Badisco and Porto Miggiano, and the prehistoric Zinzulusa Cave. We'll return to the farmhouse for a farewell dinner.

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye. We'll provide a private transfer to the airport or Brindisi/Lecce train station. As you depart, you'll carry with you the unforgettable memories of a truly immersive Puglian experience.
