Pick up your rental car and set off to explore the Latvian countryside. Start with a visit to the Latvian Open Air Museum, where you can learn about the country's four cultural regions. Then, continue to Sigulda, the gateway to the spectacular Gauja National Park, often referred to as the 'Switzerland of Latvia'. Overnight in a Sigulda BnB (or similar).

Today, drive to the Latvian coast to Jurmala, a resort town known for its fine white sand beach stretching along the Gulf of Riga. Take a short train ride to Trakai, a medieval town surrounded by picturesque lakes and forests. Visit Trakai Castle, explore the town, and try the local pastries called 'kibinai'. Choose between two hikes around the town and the Varnikai Reserve. Return to Vilnius for the night (or similar).
