Lithuania to Estonia Cycle

After breakfast, join a guided walking tour of Vilnius Old Town, a historic center brimming with beautiful buildings and cobblestoned streets. Later, we transfer to Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit the 14th-century Trakai Island Castle, nestled on a small island in Lake Galve. We then embark on our first cycle ride through the picturesque countryside before transferring to Kaunas.

Start your day with a morning bike ride around Kaunas, followed by a scenic cycle trail along the Nemunas River. You may choose to stop at Zapyškis, renowned for its unique 14th-century Gothic church. Later, we transfer to the Baltic coast and arrive in Klaipeda, Lithuania's main seaport on the Baltic Sea. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy an optional dinner at your leisure.

Today, we follow the Seaside Cycle Route along the Curonian Spit, famous for its amber and fine sand beaches. Enjoy beautiful views of the Curonian Spit separating the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon. Explore Nida, one of Lithuania's most beautiful resorts, before transferring by boat back to Klaipeda for an optional dinner at the hotel.

Start your day with a morning cycle to Palanga through the Seaside Regional Park. Upon arrival in Palanga, Lithuania's largest seaside resort, consider visiting the Botanical Garden and the Amber Museum. In the afternoon, we transfer to Riga, Latvia, stopping en route at the Hill of Crosses, a sight of thousands of crosses on two small hills. Check in at the hotel in Riga.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Riga's old town, a medieval Hanseatic town famous for its Art Nouveau buildings. In the afternoon, you may choose to cycle to Jurmala, the largest resort in the Baltic States, known for its long, white, sand beaches, mineral waters, and healing mud. Return to Riga and your hotel by train.

This morning, we transfer to the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa, which has preserved all that is best about old Estonia. With little traffic and flat roads, Saaremaa provides the perfect rural setting for cycling. Travel on picturesque roads along the coast to the village of Angla with its iconic windmills. Transfer to Mandjala or Kuressaare and your hotel, where you stay for 2 nights.

Take a morning ride to the Kaali meteorite crater, listed among the world's giant craters and a rare natural wonder in Estonia. En route, stop in Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa, home to one of the finest preserved medieval Episcopal Castles in the Baltics. Transfer by ferry and minibus to Tallinn. Check in at the hotel then enjoy a guided tour of Tallinn's old town, a vibrant cultural city with a delightful walled historic center.
