Explore the Montenegro Mountains 9 days / 8 nights

Welcome to Montenegro! We'll start our journey in the vibrant city of Podgorica. After a panoramic sightseeing tour, we'll check into our hotel and then embark on a guided walk through the city. We'll explore the bustling Republic Square, admire the modern Millennium Bridge, and delve into history at the Old Town. We'll also visit the Centre of Contemporary Art - Kruševac, the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ, and the ancient St. George Church. After a day of exploration, we'll return to our hotel for a restful night.

After breakfast, we'll drive through the picturesque villages and winding roads of Kuči to the starting point of our hiking tour. We'll trek to the viewpoint known as Grlo Sokolovo, offering breathtaking views of the Cijevna canyon and the Albanian part of the Prokletije. Optionally, we can visit a local winery for a tasting session, the Museum of Marko Miljanov, and the historical site of Medun - Meteon Old Town. After a day of hiking and exploration, we'll return to our hotel in Podgorica for a restful night.

After breakfast, we'll check out from our hotel and drive towards the stunning Mrtvica canyon. We'll embark on a hiking tour through this unspoiled natural wonder, visiting landmarks like Danilo's bridge, the Gate of Wish, and the White Nerini waterfalls. We'll also walk along Danilo's road, a path carved into the rock by the army in 1973. After a day of exploration, we'll continue our journey to Kolašin, where we'll check into our hotel and enjoy some free time.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Durmitor, stopping for a short photo break at the Đurđevića Tara bridge. We'll then start our hiking tour, trekking through grassy meadows and rocky roads to reach the peak of Bobotov Kuk. Along the way, we'll enjoy stunning views of the Škrčka lakes and the surrounding mountain peaks. After a day of hiking and exploration, we'll return to our hotel in Kolašin for a restful night.

After breakfast, we'll drive to the starting point of our hiking tour. We'll trek through the natural landscape of this region, visiting Zekova glava and the beautiful Pešića Lake. We'll also visit the Small and Large Ursulovačko and Šiško lakes. Optionally, we can take a break in the ethno village Vranjak, where you can enjoy traditional food in a natural rural ambience. After a day of hiking and exploration, we'll drive towards Ivanova Korita or Cetinje, where we'll check into our hotel and enjoy some free time.

After breakfast, we'll drive to the starting point of our hiking tour. We'll embark on a fantastic easy tour to the mountain Lovćen, enjoying amazing views of the bay from the top. After finishing our hiking tour, we'll optionally visit Njegoš's mausoleum, climbing 461 steps to the top for a panoramic view of the surrounding area. After a day of hiking and exploration, we'll return to our hotel for a restful night.

After breakfast, we'll check out from our hotel and drive towards Brajići, the starting point of our tour. We'll trek to the Kosmač fortress, take a break at the viewpoint, and then continue to the Spiridon Monastery. We'll also visit the Rustovo Monastery and the viewpoint at Čelobrdo, before descending near the Praskvica monastery. After a day of hiking and exploration, we'll check into our hotel in Budva or Bečići and enjoy some free time.

After breakfast, we'll transfer to the starting point of our tour. We'll embark on a mountain hiking tour through the beauty of untouched nature, over rocky areas, and near the wells on Vrmac mountain. We'll visit the Vrmac fortress, one of the best-preserved Austro-Hungarian fortifications in the Bay of Kotor. After a day of hiking and exploration, we'll return to our hotel in Budva or Bečići for a restful night.

After breakfast and check-out, you'll have some free time to explore Budva or Bečići on your own. When it's time to leave, we'll provide a transfer to the airport in Podgorica or Tivat, or to the port in Bar, Tivat, or Kotor. This marks the end of our unforgettable journey through Montenegro.
