Wow! What an exhilarating rush. Thoroughly enjoyed the Thames Rockets on a very sunny day. Our guide Max was full of knowledge about the landmarks and our driver Phil pushed the boat to the max throttle. Would definitely do it again.

Had a brilliant ride up the Thames, however, it wasn't just about the speed & exhilaration , it was very informative & we saw a whole bunch of landmarks with interesting history......all very well explained by Rocky our host. Bill piloted us very well, speed was very enjoyable from my 12 year old daughter right up to my 81 year old Father. A really great trip. Well done to all of the team.

For the price we paid, we never expected the experience to be so amazing, the whole thing was both well organised as well as super exciting and awe inspiring. We were celebrating our sons 18th birthday. Our family is comprised of a Solar panel engineer, an artist, a writer interested in history, and an adventurous 18 year old. All four of us loved the whole experience, the tour of the Thames with the non stop interesting historical and romanticised stories, and then the professional joy ride of the speed boat, accompanied by the heart busting sound track! I don't think all four of us have enjoyed anything so much 'together' before.

Visited with my 12 & 13 year olds, firstly I will say I was freezing and deeply regretted not borrowing one of the coats they offered! If you go during winter just borrow the coat, you will be glad of it! The member of staff who checked us in was very personable and chatty. There were only 3 other passengers onboard so we all had our own seats which was great! Joey was an excellent tour guide and we learned some new facts, both myself and the kids really enjoyed seeing the sights from the water. There was a problem with the boat getting tangled in some rubbish from the river so at the point we were due to start going fast, the boat didn’t cooperate. I was a bit worried we’d need rescued, but the driver (Andy?) managed to sort it eventually. I am not completely sure we went as fast as the boat usually would after this (seemed not as speedy as the videos I’ve seen online) BUT we did love the twists and turns and the kids had a lot of fun. We even saw a seal in the water on the way back. I don’t usually like to do the same experience more than once but I think I’ll book this again in the summer months as I can only imagine it’s even better then!

Cannot speak highly enough of these guys. We had a tour booked in for 11 on a Sunday. Unfortunately, our train into London was delayed by 50 minutes - cue us panicking. Phoned Thames Rocket office while still stuck on a train to let them know and see if there was anything they could do. They said they could buy us some time, but no guarantees. Fair enough - it's not their fault our train is late, and the other passengers on our boat shouldn't be expected to hang around, either. The lady on the phone was really nice, could clearly hear the panic in my voice. Once we finally arrived in London, we raced across town, getting text messages and phone calls as we went. Another phone call came as we were running towards the London Eye - I assured them (breathlessly) we were moments away.
On arrival, far from being annoyed (which they had every right to be), the Thames Rockets team were so, so nice (I think because they realised it was public transport to blame, not us sleeping in or something), friendly and smiley. They got us into safety gear in record time and we embarked the boat (while apologising profusely to everyone). What followed was a superb tour from Max with Nathan skippering. London was stunning as always, Max's knowledge and humour were excellent, and Nathan was super skilled behind the controls.
Absolutely loved what we think was our fourth or fifth trip with Thames Rockets. Thank you Max, Nathan and the gang in the office for an amazing journey, and for going above and beyond and being so incredibly nice when public transport conspired against us.

Great fun, taking the sights from the river, with informative commentary by Sophie, before Bill hit the power and brought smiles and laughter as we sped down the river. Highly recommend this hour of fun.
