We had luck with the weather and could get really beautiful views. Marko explained us all about skiing and Kemi and provided lots of intesresting facts about the area.

Amazing experience! Marko is a natural teacher, and the track he picked was beautiful!
There is plenty of shoe sizes to choose from, but bring your own gloves and hats.

Highly recommend experience. Ok, the weather was fantastic that helped and also our party was joined by a fairly quick german woman so we went for the lake. On the lake we followed a trail, went to the “saw-mill” island, enjoyed the fantastic snow covered trees en lavished in the sun. Marko told us a lot about the history of the place, the ice-hotel, Kemi as a city et cetera. In total we covered quite a distance so it was a good work-out. Tip… the better the group the further you go so… ask in advance.

The tour with Marko was brilliant! Even though the temperatures were quite cold he made it a very fun and worthwhile experience. He first taught us a few things about cross country skiing and then we went off onto the frozen Baltic Sea heading for the former saw mill island of Laitakari.
