Florence Exclusive PRIVATE Food Tour with 6 Tastings

Our food tour of Florence was most enjoyable. Our guy took us to three locations to sample various foods that the locals enjoy. The food was delicious. Our guide also gave us a history lesson during the walking tour and pointed out various points of interest.

This tour was one of the highlights of our Christmas vacation! Elisabetta introduced us to so many delicious local foods, taking time along the way to help us understand the origins of the food we were enjoying, and a little about the people who prepared it. During the walking parts of the tour she shared some history about the areas of Florence we were exploring, which was very interesting. It was such a gift to learn more about the city of Florence and its cuisine from someone who is so clearly part of the fabric of the community. Some of the food we enjoyed along our tour included local cheeses, olives, bread, wine, biscotti, pastries, soup, coffee and street food. I highly recommend this experience if you want to experience Florence like a local!

Elisabeat was great and very friendly. She accommodated our delay and gave us a great tour. We liked that the tour was off the beaten path and not in the major touristy areas. She was very knowledgeable about the food and history of the neighborhood. We appreciated that the food we tasted was out of the ordinary of what you would expect. Georgio was very knowledgeable and made the tour very fun. Locals greeted him everywhere we went. He took us to the markets and local (non touristy) spots around the city. We enjoyed all of the different tastings. Request Georgio when you book this tour. You will not be disappointed.

The entire tour was fantastic! Our chefs Erica and Luca did an excellent job of explaining how to prepare the dishes and they worked very well together as a team. From start to finish, Luca had us all laughing which broke the ice in the group and quickly had everyone interacting. He’s an excellent chef and very entertaining. Highly recommend this tour.

Not only did Giorgio gave us a taste of Florence, he also knew a lot about the history and we learned some fun facts. His calm personality was very pleasant to be around. Would recommend!
