We had a great time on the Market and Monuments tour.
Fabrizo was great - very knowledgeable yet also knew the right amount of detail to provide.
The tour was 1.5-2 hours of Il Capo market and 1-1.5 hours of 'monuments' - Cathedral, Quatro Canti, etc. I probably would like a bit more monuments, my wife a bit more market - so probably the right mix!
Highly recommended.

After a work trip to Sciacca, I was able to fit in 2 1/2 days of sightseeing in Palermo. Key to getting my bearings, finding my way around Palermo and figuring out where I wanted to spend more time exploring was this walking tour that also included a great selection of Sicilian street food snacks. The Capo Market visit was great, very colorful, and tasty! Our guide Fabrizio is a Palermo native which was nice bonus. We got some Palermo slang vocabulary lessons in addition to the history of the area, and the food.
Tips for people considering this tour: plan to arrive hungry, and don't book a meal immediately afterward. This afternoon tour was my lunch. Carry wet hand wipes to help tidy up between stops. Wear comfortable shoes - lots of walking around the historic center area of Palermo. There are a few tops along the way with seats to rest which was a good thing as it got hot/sunny in the afternoon.

The hotel is very nice and central.
Only a few minutes walk to town centre. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was excellent . We got parking next to the hotel . Overall I had a very pleasant stay. I'd mark it 10 out of 10.

I spent a month at the monsoon riverside hotel and it is such a beautifully run hotel. Led by their manager Sopot his team takes care of you. among the chaos of the area Sopot provides a welcome oasis! I will stay here again!

Fabrizio was a great guide, he goes above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted and needed. The market he took us to was the best one in the city. He’s knowledgeable and his English is perfect. We would certainly recommend his tour.

Some history of Palermo, explanation of the sites, a tour of the cathedral and a multitude of anecdotes that gave my husband and me a feel for the geography and culture of Palermo and Sicily. And of course a major taste of delicious street food: arancine (rice balls), panelle (chickpea fritters), crocche (potato croquettes), cannoli and sfincione (a type of pizza). Fabrizio delivered all of this in an informative and fun tour. A delightful way to spend three hours. It is a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend this fabulous tour with Fabrizio!

Fabrizio is a great tour guide! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. He told us some interesting facts and fun stories! Palermo is absolutely beautiful and getting a tour helped us understand the history of the city better, it wouldn't be the same experience without Fabrizio! :)
