It was easy to follow at your own pace. We split the tour up and it did not feel rude to walk away. I wish this was available in more areas.

The tour goes at your own pace - even tells you when you go off course. This route is simple, but part of the course was closed. We could still listen to the commentary, and picked it up at the next point. An interesting tour.

Great information. We loved going at our own pace- stopping at pubs along the way. Perfect way to see the city.

Great self guided tour. Very informative, takes you around town and along the river for a nice walk with great scenery. Made some stops as suggested along the way, so it took us a little under 3 hours. App is intense on phone, glad I charger pack with me.

Excellent tour. Very informative. Nice length.
Unfortunately the app charged me twice (once it said the card had failed when it hadn't so I tried another card).

This was absolutely perfect for someone like me who enjoys a walking tour but doesn't like the structure of being with a group of strangers. The app was easy to use and the narration was interesting. I split my "tour" into two days just based on some logistics, and it was easy to do that by simply starting the tour in the app and then selecting the location nearest me rather than the official start point. I will definitely try similar tours from this narrator and app in the future. Note: when I went (June 2023) Inverness Castle was under construction so I suggest walking around it to the next spot on the tour, otherwise you'll walk up a hill only to have to turn back around.

Nice walk, good length. I really like the flexibility of a self guided tour. It would be good to have a suggested coffee stop planned in - I passed all the places and I didn't realise until too late.

We were only in Inverness for a short time. This allowed us to see Inverness and not have to work around specific times. The commentary was excellent.

App easy to download and quick sign up. Have visited Inverness many times but have never done a tour before. This self- guided tour is great as you can start it at any time to suit yourself and you can stop and start it as much as you like if you want to explore a bit more. You can also go back if you want to repeat a section. The tour uses your location to know when you are at the right spot and then provides the information. This is great - no looking around wondering what you are supposed to be looking at! There is also a map so you know where you are heading. Information throughout the tour was interesting with the narrator easy to understand. Had a lovely afternoon doing the tour and you have access to the information as long as you have the app. I would certainly recommend.

We had a lovely time on this walking tour. We happened to be in Inverness the day of the Queen's funeral and because of that, the tour we originally had planned that day was canceled and everything was closed. When looking for things we could do instead we found this tour and while it would have been more fun to do being able to go in to the book shop it mentioned and other things along the way, it was still a lovely day of seeing the city and the Ness islands were so beautiful. It probably could use to be updated as the Inverness castle is currently closed and we had to walk around it to get back on the path but it wasn't too much trouble. Will definitely be looking into VoiceMap guides on future trips.
