Amazing!

I had an amazing day trip with The Hairy Coo visiting Stirling Castle, the Kelpies, and Loch Lomond. The whole experience felt very personal and welcoming, like a true mom-and-pop operation in the best way. The small group size made everything more enjoyable, allowing for a more relaxed and engaging experience.

Our driver and guide, David H, along with our tour guide, Allan, were absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely passionate about sharing Scotland’s history and beauty. David even went the extra mile (literally!) and made a bonus stop at the famous Queensferry Bridge, which was a wonderful surprise.

If you’re looking for a well-organized, intimate, and fun tour of Scotland, The Hairy Coo is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

This was a fun tour of Stirling Castle, the Kelpies, Loch Lomond and the town of Callander. Our tour guide Stephen was super entertaining and had lots of jokes and comments on unique Scottish words and habits. He also told historical tales of the places we were driving through or were going to see on the bus rides between locations. Our lunch spot was Callander, which was a super charming town with little shops and some sandwich restaurants. We took Stephen's recommendation of the one that bakes it own bread daily (Mhor Bread) - very tasty. While we did have a bit of sun, it was quite cold and windy when we walked around, but it was nice to be able to get out and about in the Scottish winter while having the bus to come back to and get warm in!

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re thrilled you enjoyed the tour and Stephen’s entertaining stories and humor—he’ll be delighted to hear your kind words!

Scottish winters can be brisk, but it’s great to hear the bus provided a warm retreat between stops. We hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!

Amazing!

Holly was our tour/bus driver and was one of the best tour guides I’ve had in a long time. She was fun, knowledgeable, and pepped us up at the end of the ride by playing a game and doing bus karaoke.

It was amazing to see the kelpies and Stirling Castle.

Loved this tour. BRIAN was full of knowledge and handled the winding roads like a pro. My expectations where met and highlight for me was getting close up to the kelpies.

Amazing!

Thank you Ewan for the most informative day on the tour of the Trossachs. A 3 generational family visiting many of our Grandad’s favourite places including The Kelpies , Forth Bridges and Loch Lomond cruise! Amazing day, thank you!

Amazing!

Pete was our driver and guide and he did a great job. We decided to do this tour rather than the longer Loch Ness one as thought it was too rushed and didn’t want 12 hours on a bus. Loch Lomond was a good amount of time at each stop and it didn’t feel like we were on the bus all day. Scenery beautiful but not soaring mountains. Petes music and stories really made the trip a wonderful day.
