Begin your journey in the Arctic city of Longyearbyen. Take some time to explore the town and visit the Svalbard Museum before embarking on your ship at 4 pm. As the evening sets in, we'll sail through the stunning Isfjorden. Overnight stay on board.
Day 2 – Day 2: Exploring Raudfjord

Today, we'll explore the west coast of Spitsbergen, with a potential landing in the spectacular Raudfjord. Here, you'll have the chance to observe ringed or bearded seals resting on ice fragments and possibly spot polar bears. Overnight stay on board.

Spend the day at sea, keeping an eye out for the jagged edge of the East Greenland sea ice. This is a great opportunity to spot whales and migrating seabirds. Overnight stay on board.

As we approach Greenland, we'll sail through the sea ice into Foster Bay and land in Margrethedal, where you can see remains of the Thule culture. Keep an eye out for musk oxen in the lower tundra areas. We'll then sail through the majestic Kaiser Franz Josef Fjord, surrounded by towering mountains and bright icebergs. Overnight stay on board.

Today, we'll pass the geologically rich Devil's Castle and make a landing at Blomsterbugt (Flower Bay). In the afternoon, we'll continue through the Antarctic Sound and land on Marie Island. Overnight stay on board.
Day 7 – Day 7: Segelsällskapets fjord - Berzelius Mountains - Alpefjord

In the morning, we'll reach the Segelsällskapets fjord, with the striped slopes of the Berzelius Mountains on the north side. We'll land on the southern shore, where ancient sediment formations lie. A hike will take us close to a small lake with a good chance of seeing musk oxen, mountain hares, and ptarmigans. In the afternoon, our ship ventures into the Alpefjord, aptly named after the pointed peaks that rise up around it. Overnight stay on board.

We'll spend the first half of the day in Antarcticahavn, a vast valley where you can observe groups of musk oxen. At this time of year, the sparse vegetation is adorned in the fiery colors of autumn. Overnight stay on board.
Day 9 – Day 9: Scoresby Sound - Danmarks Ø - Sydkap - Ittoqqortoormiit

The next few days will be spent exploring the vast fjord system of Scoresby Sound. We'll make exciting landings and short hiking tours, alternating with quiet hours on board for sightseeing and photography. Visit the ruins of an Inuit settlement on Danmarks Ø and the remains of a Thule culture winter village at Sydkap. Finally, we'll reach Ittoqqortoormiit, the largest settlement on Scoresby Sound. Take a stroll through the village and observe the skins of seals, musk oxen, and polar bears drying in front of the brightly painted houses. Overnight stay on board.

The cruise ends upon arrival in Akureyri. From here, you can opt for a shared transfer to Reykjavík, which takes approximately 6 hours. You can then continue your journey home or extend your stay in Iceland.
