At the camp, you’ll have the chance to feed a herd of around 300 reindeer, feeling their gentle presence as some eat straight from your hands. Enjoy a magical 15 to 20-minute sleigh ride through the snowy landscape, led by these majestic animals under the Arctic night sky.
After your ride, step inside a warm, candle-lit gamme, a traditional Sami hut, where you’ll savor a delicious three-course dinner. The meal features bidos, a hearty Sami stew cooked over an open fire, and is complemented by hot drinks to keep you cozy throughout the evening.
Following dinner, gather in a lavvu, the Sami tent, to listen to captivating stories about Sami culture and the life of a reindeer herder. Your guide will perform a joik, a traditional Sami song, adding an unforgettable touch to the experience.
