Spitsbergen Circumnavigation by Sailing Ship

Arrive individually in Longyearbyen, the 'capital' of Svalbard. We recommend arriving a day before the tour starts. Before embarking, visit the Svalbard Museum to learn about the area's mining industry and polar history. In the late afternoon, embark on the ship and set sail towards Trygghamna. Spend the night on board.

Visit the remains of old whaling stations and former Russian Pomor settlements. Take a short hike to Alkhornet, where you might spot Arctic foxes and grazing reindeer.
