Ajaccio City and Surroundings E-Bike Tour with Sanguinaires Islands Beaches

Great bikes, worked well on the hills, good routes, very scenic and achievable for people that rarely cycle. Excellent service.

The mobility of the bike was awesome. We were able to get around very well. The bike paths are not very well laid out so there may be some crossover with the road. Riding in the city was a little more difficult until you reach the outskirts and then you can really open up and ride fast. Just be weary of other vehicles on the road. If I could have had the bike for more than 3 hours it would have been perfect for a day trip/stop at Palm Beach which is lined with restaurants and an excellent beach area. If you re getting off a Cruise ship and do not want to use a bike, get to the nearest bus stop which will be past the market and past the restaurants and catch the bus down the street to palm beach fro three euros one way (the driver has change). Hang out there and enjoy the sunshine, warm water and sandy beaches.

Nice activity to get a little bit of exercise and see a lot of the seaside coast. It was a little tricky getting out of town but it got easier the more you traveled. We were originally hesitant to ride on the side of the road because of the heavy amount of traffic but the cars are used to it and they go around you just fine. The sidewalks are too crowded in the city center. The E-bikes themselves were nice to pedal since minimal effort was required 90% of the time. We went all the way to the end of the island where the islands are located. Amazing views of the sea. We were able to make it there and back with 3 hours. Bring plenty to drink.

A sunny afternoon enjoyed peddling (assisted) around the coastline of Ajaccio up to the islands. Total of 24 Km (incline on outbound). Bikes performed well. Collection is outside of Ajaccio, free parking close by.

Great experience with AppeBike. Shop is @ a 10 minute walk from the cruise port. The tour is not guided which was perfect for us. We were given a map and a route to follow as well as highlights to see along the way. That is just what we wanted as it's so much fun to go off on our own. The bikes were great and easy to ride. The city traffic in the morning is dense, but once you are out of the downtown the ride is very easy and the traffic is gone when you come back in the afternoon. We went over our allotted time with the bikes but it was only a 10 Euro charge per person and was worth it. Would highly recommend for people who want to get out an explore on their own.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bikes worked great. Fun way to see Corsica. We arranged this for our day in Ajaccio on a cruise, it was an easy walk from the pier.

Rided about 4hrs, it was fun. However be aware that you will ride on the main road since there's no bike path in the city, once you get to the Sanguinaire, it is fine.

The route that we followed was excellent as set out for us before we left the store . The bikes worked great for our ride. It was an awesome day!! Thank you for your help and patience
