Full Day Tour of Otranto City and its Amazing Seacoast from Lecce

Our whole day with Roberto (Bob) was amazing. He customized our itinerary to include a few different things that we personally wanted to see. His communication was professional and prompt. We had a fabulous time with Bob over 2 days exploring more of the beautiful Salento region. Bob was a wealth of information and very passionate about his home city in Lecce. Bob was flexible and adjusted both tours to meet our needs including stops along the way. He was well prepared and had beach sun chairs for us to use at the beach, umbrella’s when we had a downpour and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit in Lecce. Highly recommend Bob as a wonderful, kind and caring tour guide who treats his guests like family. Thanks for a wonderful 2 days Bob.

It was a truly fantastic experience sharing with Bob and his lovely wife a full day around the East Coast of La Puglia. Otranto is a beautiful town with plenty of sightseeing points to admire the scenery of the Adriatic Sea. The other parts of the schedule are even more interesting. All of them. In sum, five stars for Bob and the southern Salento!

Highly recommend this tour with Bob and his lovely wife if you’re looking to see Otranto and Salento coastline. Bob is a local of Lecce and is very informative, offering plenty of tips of what to see in Lecce and Salento. He collected us from our hotel, was punctual and the driving was comfortable. The trip was non intrusive with information given enroute and being left to explore by ourselves on arrival.

Take this tour if you want to enjoy coastal Puglia south of Lecce in comfort and in good company. You will not regret it. Bob is a native of Lecce and as such knows all the inns and outs of what to see and how to do it efficiently. He takes you to the best spots in both Otranto and several places along the coast and tells you what to see and then leaves you alone to explore. This is perfect for those who want to explore the sights independently but with guidance without someone hovering over you all the time. He will answer all of your questions while driving and is a good conversationalist but is not obtrusive. He is a very conservative driver and we felt safe all day.

This day trip was perfectly planned and executed by the guide, Bob. He took us to Otranto and seacoast spots exactly as advertised. The sites were ell chosen and extremely interesting.
