This is a great tour. Since no rehearsal was taking place, we were able to view & photograph the theatre from the 3rd level boxes. The museum was very interesting. Our guide (I don't remember her name) was very knowledgeable about the history of LaScala; she was excellent!

Wow! I absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of significance of La Scala, and her enthusiasm was obvious. We were treated to watching a rehearsal that was occurring on the main stage. What a thrill!! I can't recommend this enough. The only thing to be aware of is that this is not a private tour (the term "...with private guide" in the title is misleading...), but a group. Otherwise, 5/5 stars!!!!

This was a nice cordial introduction to La Scala. The guide explained the history and traditions. Enjoyed the commentary from our tour guide.

Our tour guide really seemed passionate about the subject. We learned a lot about the colorful history of La Scala. They were very good at keeping us connected via WhatsApp. Definitely recommended.

Wry knowledgable guide (can't recall name, please insert). The surprise of seeing the tech rehearsal for Turnadot was amazing. The history of La Scala is fascinating, shared with humor and insight.

We had the opportunity to have a sneak peek at a dress rehearsal and it was incredible.

The history of la scala was fascinating, as given by a knowledgeable guide. Elevators made it easy to navigate for difficult walkers. Guide did an Excellent, job given the amount of groups that were there. Hearing was clear. Nothing but the best of tours.

Seeing the theatre itself and hearing the stories of it in past times.
Our guide seemed very knowledgeable, and we could feel his love for the theatre also. Love that Italians we meet especially guides are so passionate about their Italian heritage.

Going to Milan in the Summer had one negative to it, there was nothing on at the theatre to go and take in the wonderful building as it should be seen. Saying that we booked this tour so we could at least have a look around and see the building. With it being out of season there was a lot of cleaning of chandeliers going on which was interesting in its own right.
Our tour guide Renata took us through the history of the building including its construction and the important dates and shows throughout its time. The foyer has many statues and an interactive screen about the buildings construction.
The whole tour took around an hour and at a cost of approximately £35.00each was a little on the expensive side but worth it as the only way we were able to see the theatre.
