6-Day The Charms of Portugal & North West Spain Small-Group Tour from Lisbon

Kickstart your journey in Lisbon, heading to the charming town of Óbidos. Explore the town's Moorish Castle and indulge in a unique drink of Ginjinha d’Óbidos. Continue to Coimbra, home to one of the world's oldest universities. After lunch, head to Aveiro, often referred to as 'little Venice' due to its canals and art-nouveau architecture. End the day in Porto, where you'll spend the next two nights.

Day two offers a choice between exploring Porto or joining an excursion to the Douro Valley. If you choose the latter, you'll travel to Pinhão for a river cruise, followed by a visit to Peso de Regua for optional wine tasting. Enjoy stunning views of the Douro River from Mesão Frio before returning to Porto for an evening of local cuisine and traditional music.

On the final day, explore Salamanca's Old Town before heading to Ávila for lunch. Visit El Escorial, the stunning residence of the Spanish Royals, before ending your journey in the vibrant city of Madrid.
