Amazing trip to Southern Portugal and to see the caves. I highly recommend this trip. We had an amazing time. We forgot our umbrellas and our tour operator met us the following day in downtown Lisbon to return them. It shows the dedication and humanity of the driver! Forever grateful.

Our tour guide was Filipe who was an excellent tour guide. He explained everything very well and took care of all of our needs. We learnt a lot about Portugal from him. The town of Algarve was very beautiful and it was fun going to those caves on the boat ride.

We had a great guide Felipe who was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He kept us informed on the entire trip to and back from Algarve. He was very accommodating and constantly making sure our interests were met. We enjoyed his many stories of Algarve and had an amazing lunch at a local restaurant in Portimão

Our party of 6 had the most fabulous Algarve private tour today with Filipe. From early communication before our excursion, he wanted to make sure our day was everything we wanted. Our day started with a prompt pick up at 7am at our desired location. Our drive was filled with details about Portugal that was extremely engaging such that the 2.5 he drive went by quickly.
The sights we ventured to along the coast were so beautiful. There was ample time to walk around to the various views along the coast, rocks and boardwalks. Filipe made sure to keep us on schedule so we would not miss the 12:30 boat to the caves.
The RIB boat tour of the caves was a highlight for all of us. We saw many sea caves over the 90 minute tour. The beauty of being in an RIB is that you can get closer to boats and go into caves that other boats can’t.
After the boat excursion we enjoyed Portuguese food near the marina. Filipe’s restaurant suggestion was perfect. Incredible meal!
Filipe proved to be a master at maneuvering us around the crowded spots so that we always had the best experiences and photos. He ensured we all got to see the sights we wanted and provided excellent suggestions of places we weren’t aware of. What an exceptional day we had with him.
All six of us agreed — five stars is not enough. Highly recommend this trip.
